Herman Miller is a global furniture brand made most popular by their authored design work with Ray and Charles Eames, George Nelson, and Alexander Girard. I interned as part of the Global Creative Studio team, working on a variety of projects at the time of the Knoll + Herman Miller merger.

The Instagram account of Herman Miller lacked basic style guides which caused for stories to be done only in a series of one-off makes. By dedicating simple rules in regards to color, type, and grid, I was able to create an easy system for designers to use moving forward.

The Diversity in Design Collaborative was initiated in June 2021 to foster systemic change by increasing diversity and improving conditions for Black creatives across the design industry. MillerKnoll was one of the founding partners, and put young, eager minds to the task on creating its first ever concept event.

The OE1 workspace collection from Herman Miller was created in collaboration with Industrial Facility, a product design firm in London. As a thank you to all who worked on this long project, a shirt was designed with the workspace lineup in mind.

The Design Yard is the home of the design headquarters and manufacturing planning for Herman Miller. Recently updated in early 2021, the multi-building, open-concept office needed a fresh background to serve the many digital screens added to the space and match the super graphics designed by Kelly O’Hara.
